Dani

Dani

A Licensed Veterinary Technician, Dani graduated from Suffolk Community College in 1997 with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology. She previously worked full time at an animal hospital for 8 years and did some part-time work at yet another animal hospital. Dani has been at Rocky Point Animal Hospital for 7 years and loves her job helping animals with the rest of the RPAH family.

Jill

Jill

Jill has been with us since 2006, having worked previously at another animal hospital as an assistant. In addition to her excellent technical skills with dogs and cats, Jill is also a talented and gifted “parrot wrangler”. She has a natural affinity and ability to handle all kinds of companion birds—skills that come in handy in her “Pampered Parrots” bird grooming business.

Kristen

Kristen

Kristin has been a receptionist for 6 years and is a teacher as well. She has four dogs, two of them rescued. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding and spending time with her friends, family, and fiancé. Kristin loves her job at Rocky Point Animal Hospital because our staff is like family. She says that everyone loves their job, sharing a common interest for compassionate care for animals.

Laura

Laura

Laura joined the Rocky Point Animal Hospital family in 2003 as a receptionist. Prior to her employment here, she worked for 5 years at another animal hospital and was active in Long Island Golden Retriever Rescue (LIGRR), where she served as vice president for 1 year. During her 3 years with LIGRR, Laura fostered more than 30 dogs in her home. This experience taught her that although every animal is unique, they all share a common need for compassion and understanding.

Over time, Laura’s organizational skills, innovative ideas, and advanced knowledge of computer technology were instrumental in helping Rocky Point Animal Hospital to become a progressive, modern practice.

Melinda

Melinda

Melinda has been with the Rocky Point Animal Hospital for 4 years and could not be any happier. She loves being able to work at a place that she considers home, with people that are like my family. Getting to witness and be a part of the care and compassion our animals get is the most rewarding. She is also a teacher who enjoys exploring new places, meeting new people, and, of course, going for car rides with her pup.

Randi

Randi

Randi has been the Office Administrator/Bookkeeper at Rocky Point Animal Hospital since August 1998. Randi’s love for animals first brought her here as a part-time receptionist, but her previous experience included working at Allstate Insurance Company for many years as a Senior Specialty Market Associate. She is a proud mom and owner of two pets.

When she is not working at the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
